What is Recycled Leather?

Recycled leather has the characteristics of both genuine leather and PU, and is a very versatile leather fabric nowadays. So what is recycled leather? Here’s a look at recycled leather.
Regenerated leather is leather or regenerated leather raw materials crushed into a certain size of leather fiber, then it will be mixed with natural rubber, resin and other raw materials, and then compressed into a filter cake; the filter cake will be heated, so that the surface layer of the fiber melted with viscosity, the layers will be extruded, bonded, dehydrated and formed, dried, sliced, embossed and surface treatment to get the final product.
Recycled leather has the advantages of moisture absorption, breathability, good workmanship also has the same softness and elasticity of genuine leather, light texture, strong resistance to extreme high and low temperatures, and wear resistance. But the strength of recycled leather is worse than the same thickness of genuine leather, of course, is also worse than PU, not suitable for shoes and other leather goods under greater force.
